Students and teachers at Adelaide’s TAFE campus came together to mark National TAFE Day, and recognise the importance of affordable, accessible and quality education.
Among those who spoke at the event was Jagdeep, who is studying the Diploma in Children’s Services at Regency TAFE and who previously worked as a lecturer of biology in India.
Small Change’s Lisa Burns spoke to Jagdeep about what she values about a vocational education provider like TAFE, as well as Ammarah from Pakistan, Jihye from Korea and Mahnaj from Bangladesh, who have studied English as a second language.
